Snodland Town Football Club

Snodland Town Football Club can announce that Joint Managers Luke Jessup & Fred Dillon have decided to leave Snodland Town Football Club.

Below is an Open Letter written by both.

Dear Tim & Dave and the Snodland Town faithful,

I am writing to let you know that I have decided to step down from my role as manager.

This has not been an easy decision, but it is one I feel I need to make to better balance my family, work, and personal life. Right now, Im naturally devastated to write this letter, BUT, I don’t feel I can give each area the full energy and focus it deserves and I want to be in a position where I can give 110% across everything I do.

Snodland Town deserves a manager who can keep the club at the very front of their mind at all times, and I believe this is the right time to step aside to allow that to happen.

I want to put on record how truly incredible Snodland Town is as a club as well as ALL the people involved.
The support system behind the team is first class, and the backing over the last two seasons has been nothing short of magnificent.
It has been a genuine honour to represent you and to be the manager of this football club.

There are so many people behind the scenes who keep everything running seamlessly and they deserve huge credit. You know who you are !!!!

A special thank you to Lee, The Secretary.
He has been outstanding to work with and someone who makes a big difference every day without fuss.

Finally, a massive and heartfelt thank you to the committee, especially Dave and Tim.

Your trust, support, and belief in me throughout this time has meant a great deal.
Your backing and positivity never wavered, and you have made this journey an enjoyable and rewarding one.
You lads are a real credit to the club and I am very grateful for the opportunity.

I feel I leave the club in a strong position having won some silverware along the way and I am proud to have made many true lifelong friendships.
I have no doubt that Snodland Town FC will continue to go from strength to strength.

From the bottom of my heart,
Thank you again for everything.
Luke Jessup

Following on from Luke’s decision to step away from the role. Joint manager Fred Dillon decided his time has also came to an end at Snodland Town Football Club. Fred spoke on behalf of his decision to depart the club - I have loved my time at the football club but I also feel now is the right time to step down, I can't thank Dave and Tim enough for the support they have showed us from day 1 and that support never wavered. I want to also thank the rest of the staff and fans that have been superb all season. I wish the club every success moving forward.
